Heart Cath

I had a heart cath done yesterday as part of the testing for the transplant list. The procedure itself was a breeze but didnt get any good news. I of course didnt expect to either. My cardio said my heart is even worse than he expected.

Next step, I have my first appt next Wednesday at the Transplant Clinic. I'll let you all know how that goes next week.

The Lord does not give us what we can't handle. You are in my thoughts and prayers. God bless you!

I know that feeling

And it really sucks the big one. They had done three on me sofar. Every time has been bad news. Did they tell you the number?

Have they started you on dobutamine yet? If not, once they do, you will feel a bit better. Me without the dobutamine, I'm below 12%. With it, I'm a bit better then 12%, but feel better most days.

Are you having any problems with fluid build up? Have they put you on a limit of fluid intake per day?

I hope and pray they can help you. You are looking down a long road ahead.

Take care and God Bless,
Paul

You know you're wired when...

You have a $50,000 chest.

I am not planning on letting any of this shorten my life. I am planning on living a long happy battery operated life. You never know maybe it will keep me alive longer. I sure know one thing I would have been dead before starting school without it.
