I have had my pacemaker for two years with no trouble. The past two days I have had some heart pain at the pacemaker site. It isn't very bad and doesn't last long but gets my attention since I have never experienced it before. Do you think this is anything to be concerned about.

Is the pain in your chest or at the PM location? Either way I agree with TKG, more especially if in the chest. Best of luck.

to the closest ER. Do not pass GO; do not collect $200.
You have already waited too long.
Plumbing prolems w/ the heart can be mimicked by many things, including STRESS/ANXIETY. It is not for you or us to rule that out - it is for a properly staffed & equipped ER.

Sometimes the lead wires can come lose, shift. Not often but it does occur or the pacemaker shift with weight loss or gain.

If you haven't done anything

If you haven't done anything like shoveling the drive, exercising in a different way, etc then I'd get your site checked out. It may be nothing but unusual pain should always be checked out.
