3 years old

Hi folks......3 years ago today I was saved by having a pacemaker inserted.....my heart rate dropped to 19 beats per minute....the emergency guys worked on me for a couple of hours and they were a able to get a temporary pacemaker in which allowed by body to settle and the following day I had mister sparky inserted.
I have had no problems ...physical and physologically ...whatsoever with the implant.....and I thankd God and the emergency staff for having a second chance at life....and to spend morea years with my family.....

To all implanted and prospective pacemaker reciprients out there I wish you all a wonderful life and that you implant be as successful as mine.....Ray

Happy anniversary of your new life! I, too, am nothing but grateful to have this. I have a full life, without it I doubt I'd still be here. My 20th anniversary is next year, I'm thinking of having a big party :o)

Happy 2nd birthday!!!

Yes, beloved brother, Ray, we are so very grateful that you have been given that second chance at life, and we share in the joy of your third 'pacemaker anniversary'.

We both know the fragility of life, the joys of cardiac and cancer survival, the wonderful love and support of our families and the dedicated skills of our respective medical personnel. May we have many more pacemaker and defibrillator anniversaries and opportunities to get together and enjoy life to the full.

Like Ray, I too, wish all our pacemaker friends a healthy and happy future, knowing that their pacemaker is silently working for them whilst they confidently enjoy all aspects of their lives.

Neville

Thanks

It may be the first time we've felt a normal heart rhythm in a long time, so of course it seems too fast and too strong.
