Thank you to everyone who answered my posting "Year of Friendship.'

It is so great to have such a wide circle of friends.

We all received an evacuation order via our mobile phones tonight at 5.30pm to go to the showground down in the town near us. We are waiting to see how close the fire comes. It will be a long night. The winds are so fierce they are fanning the fire into a frenzy. We are hoping we will be safe as we are in the middle of open farmland that is cropped and not near bush. We do have some helicopters dropping water but because of the vast area of fire it must be like trying to put out the inferno with an eyebath. Our prayers are for the firefighters and those who are in danger and who have lost everything.
