JUST HAD TO ASK

Hi folks.

Just looking at the list of: Who's on Line and it occured to me: How did you get your sign in name. Bet there are some interesting answers out there. Mine: Blue - well for some reason I husband calls me that. In Australia a redheaded person can be called Blue but I am not redheaded. I laughed one day when I got my new bank passbook back and imy name was handwritten and instead of Billie it looked like Blue T.....

Cheers to all Blue

Having a first name of Frank and being an engineer you can see where mine came from.

My husband helped me to register on this site as I am not too good with computers. When he asked me for a site name I could not think straight away then for some reason I thought of my paternal grandmother's name, Hence Alma Annie. So there was no real reason except to thank her for being my Grandma. My real name is Janet. No second name.

In Sept 1936, A squalling baby boy was born in Dover, NJ, USA.

The nurse asked my mother what my name was to be & she told them "Don."

Made it easy for me.

ReBoot1212 because I got my PM Dec 2012. First thing I remember was a tap from "Sparky" as I was waking up from surgery. Felt like a fresh start - like when you reboot your way out of a computer crash.

All so interesting.

Hi Blue.

You will see that Frank is a logician from his account..

whereas....Tattoo Man has...ABSOLUTELY NO TATTOOS !!

In early Spring when it can be fresh in the morning I wear lycra 'arm warmers' when I go running. They are printed to look like full arm tattoos and attract some very odd looks. When I get warmed up I just roll them down to my wrists and use them to mop up sweat.

Wishing you all the best and hope that the fires are got under control soon. I've seen some of the footage and want you to have a bit of support from over here in the UK

G'day Blue

by RobertS - 2013-01-08 10:01:50

I grew up around ANZACS [Australia and New Zealand Army Corps for the non- colonials] in Malaya in the 50s and the term Blue, like Digger was used for all Aussies. Females were called Sheila!

I'm quite jealous - everone seems to have good reasons for their sign in name - mine is my first name and first letter of my surname - how boring is that. But at least I can remember it :)

PS hope you aren't affected by the terrible fires in NSW, Vic and Tasmania. Have a son and family in Queensland and so far they seem to have escaped up there - too wet perhaps

I like cute cartoon frogs. Kermit always had that line on Sesame Street with "Hiho, Kermit the Frog here..." Been using this for email and such since high school. :D

You know you're wired when...

Friends call you the bionic man.
