Merry Christmas.....

Hi All
Just to wish you all a very merry Christmas.

I've had a few problems post AV node ablation 9 weeks ago, including an emergency hospital admission for non sustained ventricular tachycardia (had never experienced that before, VERY scary). But I'm doing ok, my EP & his team are looking after me & keeping an eye on things, as are the PM techs who are checking my PM recordings regularly for any further VT episodes (none so far, thankfully).

Hubby lost his job a few weeks ago too.

BUT......I am SO looking forward to Christmas. I am very thankful that the ablation was successful (despite the few problems afterwards), thankful that I have an excellent EP who continues to look after me so well, thankful that my PM keeps my heart working well now that I am effectively PM dependent (no SA or AV node now), thankful that hubby is getting over the shock of losing his job.....& thankful that I am celebrating Christmas with hubby & my 2 wonderful children (well, young adults now!).

And thankful that I have so many wonderful friends on here.
I hope you all have a great time over Christmas.

Merry Christmas
Very best wishes
Janey

Hi Janey,
It seems that you have got over the hurdle of the tachycardia. PMs are great aren't they, to keep us going. Great too that you are being checked so regularly. Keep on keeping positive.
I hope you and your family have a wonderful Christmas. Lets hope you have better health in 2013.
