I just realized I passed my PM anniversary on the 27th.
38 years now with a PM (1975).
I am very blessed.
Hope you all are, too.
My best to all,
Gellia

Doing a little math I find you were only 27 with your 1st pacemaker & now ONLY 65. This also excites this old 81 year old as I'll have to live another 6 years to hit my 27th anniversary. Congratulations Gelia3 !!

Gellia, you must be up there in the pantheon of world-wide old times of PM hosts.
Sounds like your first Pm was pretty darned crude compared to present day devices.
Your experience speaks volumes about the toughness & adaptability of the human body and mind.
My heartiest congratulations for your accomplishment - that's about half your entire life & a shining example & goal for the rest of us to try & reach.
(Laura I'll come to your anniversary party.)

...and I thought my 3-year anniversary was great. I agree with Don, I'd like to come to your party, you sound like just the kind of positive person we'd all like to know.
Happy anniversary and have many more.
Party?

It's been a journey, but without a PM, it would have ended 38 years ago.
Blessings indeed!
May all your journeys be blessed!
