Hi all,
Has anyone had any difficulty with shoulder/joint/site pain and have had the luck of insurance covering physical therapy?
I've had my PM for just shy of 4 years and have always had trouble rotating my arm after the surgery...but it wasn't until joining the gym that I truly noticed how uneven my range of motion was when compared to the other arm...and its hurts!
Thanks for any info!

I was told that my insurance would not cover PT... The reason being that the ins company will NOTcover pt for electrical problems...Plumbing yes,, but electrical is a BIG NO...go figure...makes no sense to me...that's like saying we'll cover our dr's visit if you have the flu, but not if you just have a cold or fever...I don't get it. I did however go thru rehab pt and just paid for it myself.
best money I ever spent...
I still have stiffness in my shoulder at certain points, but then again I ain't no spring chicken, and I ain't getting no younger...
just thought I'd comment...
hmmmm...now it appears that I'm following the one and only...Grateful Heart.....hi GH

Start with an Orthopedist. They will probably take some x-rays and then may recommend P/T if they feel you will benefit from it. Most likely you will. Things aren't always PM related....could be something from the gym too.
Good luck,
