Wow, how fast a year can go by! At one time I was a very busy poster and reader. Then life became very rough for me. :( My Father died of COPD. I was devastated. I'm a Daddy's girl... and I shall remain so even now that my Dad is gone. It has been an awful year. I will spare you details but just let me say this... My marriage also went through some life changing events. We are through counseling now for over 6 months and have been able to overcome some "issues". Then, my Mom decided she was done living, so after a lot of work she is emotionally stable now. Last week our daughter got married and it was a very emotional event for all of us considering the empty seat next to my Mom. I had a meeting with the office staff at my cardiologist office and explained that they had to stop calling and leaving messages like to do. I explained that it really makes me angry when they do that. So they changed my ph number. Yippee! Problem finally solved!
Good news is...
My pacemaker hasn't let me down through all that stress! Cool uh? Isn't it great? I think so. I pace now at 95% of the time. I still have years left on this new pacemaker so it's going to be a long time before I need a new one. :-) I'm hoping that by that time the new wireless, self generating power PM will be available. My Doc did say that I need to drop 10-15 pounds. That is a challenge because of the medications that I'm on. But I will give it a go. My hubby and I bought a new Harley Davidson motorcycle... A Heritage Softail Classic! WE LOVE THE NEW RIDE. Photos to come very soon.
That's it for now, makes me tired just thinking about the last year so I won't think about it anymore. I'm busy looking forward to this year and the next. I miss my Dad, but I also know that I have beautiful memories of Dad and as long as I'm alive, so are my memories.

Susan,
I'm glad to see you back online. I've been thinking about you lately and understand the difficult time you've been having lately. You're in my thoughts and wish you luck with your weigh loss goal and new Harley!
