People, I say we meet here like IAN MC says for aperitif, then onto Tracey's place because its much sunnier and warmer! I find it amazing how much fun we can have with the simplest suggestion. Lets have some fun.... And we are. I am with you all in spirit and if the door bell rings I would be a very happy Pacer Chick. ... don't mention Berlin Berlin-Brandenburg International airport - it's still not open, and the rumour is that it won't open until 2015 (note: it should've opened in Dec. 2011...). Tempelhof was closed a few years ago which is nice because now the whole field has become a recreational area. Schoenefeld is where the new airport will be, it's a bit outside of Berlin. So, I'll take Tegel :)
I hope that by the time we get to the U.S., our folks there have not all fallen down the fiscal cliff... ;) I could bring some stuff, Germany is doing pretty well economically :)

This 5 deg type went for 'early doors' at the Five Bells last night met the warmth of a Pub full of great mates..superb, hand-made beer..the hot company of Mrs TM, Jane and Jenny...WON £20 on the sweepstake and returned home to the smell of a 3-hour Lamb Hotpot washed down with an Australian McGuigan Red.

Now for myself: I clawed and climbed my Jeep up onto a hilltop near here, set up my recliner in the sun, and took an hour nap. (Sans clothing and sunscreen of course). Then climbed part way down an old mine shaft for a look (with clothing of course). Chased a few jack rabbits. Then home for a beer in the hot tub.
