Hi all!
The question popped up here, why mostly the same members always answer all the questions. In my opinion this is definitely not because only certain views are allowed or welcomed, but rather because quite a lot of members never really actively engage. So, I thought it would be a good idea to remind people of what Blake posted under "club spirit":

If you are a member or are considering joining, please consider these important points and think about what you can do. Many members never filled out the account information, but it's really important because this often helps when others try to answer a person's question. So, this might be a good start. If you don't feel confident about answering a question that's ok. What you can still do is show your support (fingers crossed for an upcoming test or surgery; get better wishes; other words of encouragement). Also, if you ask a question, it'd be nice to thank those who answered or even give them an update (Did the advice help? What happened at the next doctor's appointment?). Some people always do, others never. I have seen this in other forums, too, and it's just not nice. People take some of their leisure time to answers questions; they often do some research before they answer; they re-read old messages, so it won't hurt to thank them for that time they took to help.
The spirit of this club is active participation and caring members who are willing to engage. Kennedy once said: Ask not what your country can do for you, but what you can do for your country. In this sense, I'd like to say: There is a lot this club can do for you, but you should also think about what you can do for the community here. Hope you understand what I've been trying to say.
Best wishes
Inga

We all need help at some point in life and I think it's good therapy to return the favor and help others.

Caring Group

FWIW I don't even have a pacemaker anymore but I still feel like a member of this group. Back when I did have one, I got lots of good advice and support here.
Sometimes, rather than getting an answer to a technical question, people just need somebody to give them a virtual hug and say they care. I think this group does that very well (in addition to giving good technical advice).
I like KAG's point- it is therapy to give rather receive.

I don't post alot except for questions because I know so little but I do try to give encouragement when I can. and I'll start making it a point. I firmly believe that when you can "serve" others you're serving your God! who ever/what ever that means to you.
Dumb and Dumber!!

I don't think I have taken all the advantage I could have with this site, as I seem to be totally technologically dumb. Also unless I do things regularly I forget how to do things. Even this morning I had to ask my husband for help. I would have no idea how to post a photo!
Having said all that I do enjoy reading everyone's posts and have had considerable help, and hope I may have helped others. I read them 1st thing in morning before I have even showered, but I don't always log in unless I want to post. I was away for 4 weeks with no access, and really missed it.
So please everyone forgive me if you think I am not involved, as I really am to the best of my ability.

Leaves me wishing my knowledge of the computor was greater, my knowledge of PM and ICD was greater and that I was more vocal. By the time of night that I get on here, and I'm on here every night, most posts are answered far better than I can. I have learned so much reading the comments on here it is amazing, my PM tech has commented on it. So thank all of you. Jean
