Hi!
The UK based heart rhythm charity "Arrhythmia Alliance" has set up a new forum for people with arrhythmias:
http://heartrhythmcharity.healthunlocked.com/
Not that I want to lure people away from this wonderful site, but I thought that it might be nice for the Brits to have a forum where they can find other patients from their country.
Best

Hi!
I thought it's quite easy once you've signed in. It's a different kind of forum, the design differs, but then it for instance allows blog posts, everyone can set up a poll etc. And it's not just for device patients, but for all arrhythmia patients.
I'm sticking with you, but the pacemakerclub is not the only forum I follow. I'm also a member of a German forum, and I'm a big fan of the Arrhythmia Alliance (although I'm not from/in the UK), so every now and then I will also use their forum.

This is an APB to all in PM Club..I really need help about how I deal with IAN.
I have a concern about the content of his postings...the booze intake of Mr Mrs MC are starting to worry me.
His gambling needs looking at..I'm sure many will have similar worries.
Between you and me...Sshhhh...its the 'ferret' thing that spooks me most....for non UK people ..'ferret' means only one thing......look away if you have a delicate disposition......
Sshhhh...Ferret People like ferrets..they have ferrets, ..dress like ferrets,..have ferret parties,..have pictures of ferrets on the walls..you really need to know no more..
What bothers me much more is his new obsession about me , sex and car crashes...I mean ,..a guy needs a hobby
Tattoo Man...IAN you are so Fab !!

Like Tattoo man I didn't find the site to be very user-friendly but I will have a look at it occasionally and thanks for telling us about it.
On the subject of useful info online I was exploring the heart-related content on You Tube last night and was surprised to see how much good stuff there is. I watched an hour-long lecture on Fibrillation by a US cardiologist, Dt Marcus, and it is particularly good ( methinks I must get a life ! )

I was so pleased to hear that you had spent an hour last night watching a lecture on You Tube on the rivetting subject of Fibrillation.
For myself Mrs TM and I were down the Pub, discussing, with friends, a veritable cornucopia of subjects that took in ..car crashes that we have been in to ..via sex to recipies for Portuguese egg. All this washed down with a very fine pint or two of cask conditioned IPA ..(Shiraz for Mrs TM )
Dined on home made fish and chips from said hostellry.
You know ,..I could kick myself for missing that lecture.
IAN, you answered your own question in your last six words !!

Just for the record I will amplify on how I spent my Friday evening in case you think I am a lost cause .
I,too, consumed much ale ( While Mrs IANMC matched my intake with large volumes of sauvignon blanc ) . We did this while attending a 'Ferret Racing " charity event . I don't know if you have ever attended such a thing but it was very entertaining !
I lost vast amounts of money by betting on a ferret which looked promising in the starters' enclosure but, as soon as the race started, it ran like someone whose PM needs replacing , and in the wrong direction !
... so on arriving back home, slightly drunk, and broke, what better thing to do than watch a lecture on fibrillation, which is what I did !
Talking about better things to do, you did not say if sex was related to all of your car crashes in any way ?
Take care .... with all those fish & chips that you are eating you need to double your statin dosage !!
Cheers
Ian

I've tried this site..is it me or is it a bit of a dog to get around..?
PM Club is very accessible, thats a good thing. Instant access is very desirable for those who dip in and out of sites. The AA Brit site seems less easy to get into.
Any ideas out there ?
