I have a Medtronic model SEDR01 pacemaker that was placed in 2011. Can I use a gas operated chain saw?

There are those on the site who use chainsaws, but everyone is a bit different. I haven't had the opportunity.
Is your RR turned On? If so the vibration could cause your HR to go up.
I wouldn't try it out alone. Hopefully those that have used them will chime in or you could do a search in the upper right corner of the site.

I had a St. Jude's ICD-PM inplanted in 2-14.
Started cutting firewood 6 weeks later. First with my little chainsaw then my big one. Was worried about starting the big one and pulling my leads out early on. No problems but everyone is different. If you want bring you saw over. lol I have more to cut.

But you could call Medtronic, bet they would be able to give you an answer!
I have a Biotronik and have called them with a question. They were extremely helpful and very quick to answer my questions.
Good luck
