2 incisions

Hi just wondering if anyone has had the same experience as me. I just had pm replacement in November steri strips just now starting to fall off and to my surprise I have two incisions about 1/2 inch apart. Drs never said anything about two incisions.left message for dr but no call back yet. Still having pulling feeling soreness and swelling when using my left arm. Anyone have this happen to them and what was reasoning behind it.

May have just run into underlying scar tissue and felt it wouldn't heal correctly. So he made the second incision in a better area.

Could be a lot of things. If your wound is healing OK, I wouldn't get too excited about it.

For most people it's a straight forward implant. But if you had some scar tissue that was different, the doctor makes adjustments accordingly.

And yes, you'll have soreness and swelling.

The most common is to go in through the same place, but for various reasons some go in next to it. Ask.
