Loving My New Replacement Pacemaker

Had my 3rd pm placed on the 16 of November. I feel so much better its like being handed back my life! My second pm never seemed to help and by the end of year 6 I could barely walk up 12 stairs. The new pm is a boston scientific l321 that has rate response that works on respiration not movement I believe this has made all the difference (along with support and prayers). I just want to thank my fellow pacemaker brothers and sisters for the kind wishes and support over the years.

New Pm

Hi, I'm glad to hear that your new PM is doing the trick. I'm struggling with my Medtronic, I do interval training and my HR rate drops from 164bpm to around 90 bpm when I stop for a 10sec break. I'm pretty sure that the Boston Scientific might be the answer. My Cardio has already tweaked my PM at least 8 times trying to fix the problem. I also find that I can't run long distances...get too tired and have to stop...

New pm next week

Very glad to see your post and positive outcome.

I'm getting a replacement next week that works on respiration instead of arm movement.

Hope I feel as good as you do! Congrats!

Just joined - same model

Just joined the club on Friday with the same model.

Wow - what a difference in how I feel even after only a couple of days.

Can't wait until recovery is over so that I can use the arm fully and can really exercise.
