no pat downs?

Are you saying that just showing your card exempted you from having to take off your shoes, get whole body pat downs, wand searches, and hand testing for powder residues? That would be wonderful! I just returned from two air flights out of Chicago and St. Louis with no such luck. I was able to use the Xray "telephone booth/hand in the air " and had no problems caused by the pacemaker, but had two flat back pockets (both empty) in my jeans which precipitated a thorough "butt pat down". That was what it was called by the TSA person. Coming back I got the whole body pat down because their Xray machine was "broken". Over 75 years of age, a person is not supposed to have to remove a light jacket or shoes, but once you flash a PM card, then you are a suspect terrorist and have to sit down and take off shoes, etc. I am still waiting for one trip without a search!

Since I got my pacemaker, I don't pass out anymore! That's a blessing in itself.
Thanks

for the info. Haven't traveled yet, but I am sure I will...
Did you go through the machines?
