Request for interview

We received the following request via email...

I’m writing an article to be published next week, on what to expect after getting a pacemaker. While I’ll be interviewing medical experts, the story also needs the perspective of someone who actually lives with a pacemaker and can describe their experience.

Please circulate this request among your members so I can include one or two of their voices. Our phone interview would take about five minutes. The interview would have to take place by Friday, Sept, 12.

I have only had a pacemaker for 3 months for 2 nd degree heart block that occurs only with exercise. I would be happy to help you but there may be more knowledgable people on this site.

I'm on my second pacemaker. It was put in November 7 2013. My first was implanted in August 2007. If I could be of any help I will share info with you.
