I am 37y/o female who has congenital 3rd degree heart block. Dx in utero. My mother has lupus and that’s why I have heart block. I have no structure or “pumping” EF problems. What is the average time it takes before the leads, that are screwed into the heart, form scare tissue and heal. I am an avid billiards player and I’m concern that my bridge hand is on the same side as my pacemaker. With that extended stretching forward and above or at shoulder height might be too much on the leads???

I live in East Europe, and my doctors are considering changing my leads of almost 7 years. There is a chance that my leads had some production problems and there is a good chance that they may malfunction at some point

This is my 3rd defibrillator. This one was implanted 2016. It is still very uncomfortable. I can fill the wires just under the skin. Everything has checked out ok. I saw my former doctors in Oklahoma and was told that the generator might need to be reset or the pocket sewn up more. Any thoughts? It was implanted in Alabama .

Well here's a chance to learn something... at least for me... Cardio responded to my complaints of extreme fatigue by comparing a new ekg with one before the new crt pm was implanted last feb.INTERESTING RESULTS!!!!
the qrs sows up at 15.5 miliseconds higher than the previous ekg in feb where it was 218miliseconds.. said it was "leakingmanagement " issue and not ideal. He wants to change to bi-ventricular from multi point pacing on this st. judes crt pm....he a...

Apparently the primary way doctors attach leads for dual chamber pacemakers and/or ICDs can, in some patients, cause mitral prolapse or mitral regurgitation. 4 days post op. Chest sore but improving. Noticing tugging sensation, pulling sensation under the left clavicle. Can feel wire under the skin both under the clavicle and under the clavicle superiorly. I assume this is normal routing. Almost feels like someone has their finger on my neck or throat to a certain extent. Not sure if this is normal or something that you get used to. Any thoughts appreciated thanks

Last month I fell twice within an 18 hour period and went to the ER. The doctor ordered an EKG and found that, during it, my heart had stopped beating for five seconds (because I had twitched).
