Acupuncture

Guess what? I tried acupuncture the other day (as in yesterday morning) and well...I HAVEN'T FELT THIS GOOD IN YEARS!!!!! I stopped taking my meds due to a general lack of them working a few days ago and yet since the acupuncture treatment, I have not had an irregular beat, my blood pressure has gone down and my heart has started reacting to exercise the way it is suppose to again! I go in again for another treatment on Thursday and it should take awhile for long term results, but I am amazed already with how much better I feel after just one treatment. I will try to keep everyone advised of how things go. :)

Me too

hi ~

i love, love, love acupuncture! it was actually my acupuncturist who first detected the heart issue - all those pulses they check - amazing. it's been extremely helpful for a number of things, and as for stress. nothing can zone me out quicker. those stress points on the head get me every time. i've never had a drug that even comes close.

that said, I've recently moved out of the city to a small town so have to find a good one within driving distance. knowing the acupressure points helps an awful lot for self massage - especially the ones on the feet. so if you don't have access to a good acupuncturist that's a fairly good second. good books/videos available.

best of luck to your continued feel good!

Worked well for me

Hey!

I have tried acupuncture, too, and if it wasn't so expensive, I'd still get a treatment every now and then. It's not that it has helped with my arrhythmia, but it helped to gain back strength. I had this done after surgeries when I was really worn out, and it worked very well for me. After each treatment, I went home being extremely tired. I slept for about an hour, and when I got up again I felt soooo much better.

Best wishes
Inga

I used to tell my acupuncture therapist to go heavy on the "accu" and easy on the "Puncture". She get a laugh out of it and then stuck it to me! G:

Seriously, I have found it very helpful in the past.

You prefer rechargeable batteries.

The pacer systems are really very reliable. The main problem is the incompetent programming of them. If yours is working well for you, get on with life and enjoy it. You probably are more at risk of problems with a valve job than the pacer.
