hello, i hope someone can help me with this one. I've had pm for 9 months now. i went on 11/10/09 for a checkup before that i was feeling great. the next night i start having a dizzy spell lasted about 2 to 3mins. again in am next morning a min or so. i'm wondering if it was just the small adjustments that will need to b gotten use to. they were only expanding the battery life kept the settint gs at 60 bpm. not doing anything at those times resting.

The things that extend battery life are lowering the pacing stimulus voltage, and reducing the percentage you are receiving pacing. Either of these could cause light headedness if they were set below the level you need to get normal heart activity.
None of these require getting used to.
One non related item is the flu that is going around. It can produce a bunch of strange symptoms and can come on suddenly. Just a thought

Your anxiety is normal. It takes some of us a little time to adjust to the new friend. As much as they love you, family and friends without a device just cannot understand the adjustment we go through. That is why this site is so valuable.

Sometimes they make small changes that they think you won't feel that will increase your battery life. If you feel worse after a check, call and ask to be checked again.
