Not doing so well....

Yes, it's true. I am not feeling so good. I know you all won't believe this... BUT I HAVE LOST MY VOICE! I have just come from the dr. office and it seems that I have bronchitis, a sinus infection and an assortment of other maladies to deal with. I was given an antibiotic and cough meds with codeine in it. I don't do well with steroids, so this was the 2nd choice. In fact the pharmacist had to mix it up special for me! I didn't think that that was done anymore? Don't I feel special. The doc. says that my voice should be back in a day or two and the cough and other trouble should be gone in 3-4 days. That means by the weekend I should be feeling great!
I have to communicate by texting my hubby because he can't hear what I am saying. Sure is quiet around here.... gag, gag cough, cough. Seems half the town was in the dr. office this week. 5000 people, it is a very small town.

Pookie and Donna, I don't why I continue to be sick. Just doesn't seem fair. I did put the top down on my beetle to drive to the dr. office today, I had to have fun on this beautiful day. I have high hopes that this is going to be the last of my flu bug.
I am trying very hard to keep a good attitude about it all, no more crying. I am DONE with that.

it was the worst bug of the year. bacterial it was and i coughed till my ribs hurt. i had not been sick for years and never like this. finally i did take steroids or prednisone for 7 days and i got slowly better.boy i didn't ever expect this. well now it is over for a month or two and now we are on the next exploitation. d&c apparently a tag which could have grown like a snake into the cervix and needs to go. i was told expect a lot of blood it is thick and we don't know how long. is it like the size of a ten foot long snake growing out of my cervix but definitely not cancer....hehe so out i go. let them do their magic but definetely under a gen anesth. i chickened out completely hehe byee susie

I am beginning to wonder about the dreaded .... "What else?" I woke up this morning with my eye swollen and glued shut! Ughhhhh! My usual sunny disposition is beginning to wane a bit. I keep thinking what would Peter N. say at a time like this? Ah yes.... he would say, "Susiebug, Keep your chin up, take your meds and call me when it's all over!" he he That is exactly what he would say!
I may go for a ride in the beetle later, of course with the top down, maybe just to the corner shop to get me a nice juice drink. thank you Sue for suggesting I go for a drive. =)

just trying to add a bit of humour but hope it didn't offend anyone. i know that peter nash kept upbeat his whole life. i am working on that all the time. it seems like every day is a struggle at times with more bad news. however he is my model too and i will strive to be positive or at least keep my humour more appropriate for the audience. thanks everyone love,jessie

I think a mask is a good idea! Who knows what one can pick up at the local Sonic Drive In! Actually my voice is a little better tonight, but if I try to speak I go into wild fits of coughing! I can't taste anything so I have no idea how dinner tasted. Hubby ate it all so it couldn't have been that bad.

I must go now I need to retrieve my bunny suit from the dryer!
