When will I fell les....

Ok...you all have been so helpful as I only know my friends mom has a pm and she's 75. I'm 42!
It's been 9 days since implating the pm and I notice when I get up and walk or sit up in bed and walk I feel the pm heaviness sometimes the leads and "feel" it more than I thought.
Will this go away in time?

I see my cardio on monday am. I do feel stronger today with finally sleeping through the night.

It seems we all have to deal with the statement "such and such has a PM/ICD and is just fine" My goodness we are a lot younger and we just got it. This is about us not the cousin of a lost friend of such and such!

The heavy feeling does go away eventually. I never thought I would reach a time I could forget that have a PM, but I did. Even where the wires are seems to find it's resting place and becomes a part of you.... hang in there. It will get better.

Keep in touch, :-)

14 weeks on!

Hi there! My pm felt soooooooooooo heavy and i could feel the leads pulling, especially after my first interrogation, it was as though i could still feel the weight of the magnet.

GET A GOOD BRA! I keep saying this to people, especially if you are slightly well endowed in the breast department and if you are doing any running etc. I occasionally sleep in mine as well.

But now, 14 weeks on, everything fine, even forget its there, pulling sensation has either gone or ive just got used to it.

Hope this happens to you. Take care.

You know you're wired when...

Bad hair days can be blamed on your device shorting out.

Since I got my pacemaker, I don't pass out anymore! That's a blessing in itself.
