panicing over sumat silly
hi everyone well yep its me again well as you all no already huby has a merchanical mitral valve and a pm ,had pm about 6 months and valve 9 months i seem to panic over every little detial when he is not feeling well as we all probly do ,just me being silly i guess ,well just wanted to ask he not feeling to good he put it down to the flu coming ,acheing upper back ,neck,shoulder ,slight sore throat ,and sakes ,his one side of his face last night went like ice cold ,i was just woundering if this can affect any of the pm or valve as been told months ago if he gets a tep he has to have a blood test due to having mercanical heart valve ,silly question i no but seem to spend time worrying over things just need reasurance guys thanx

Is he on coumadin? That is why they have to watch infections and temps. I also have a new valve,9 months and an ICD. I had a virus a couple of weeks ago and it made my INR go up. Just keep his bleood testing up and adjust the dosage as needed.
