Good Morning! had a strange odd sensation last night. I was wondering if anyone has had it Also, or would know what qas up.
I was sitting in the lazyboy chair late watching tv, not doing anything. I started ro feel my heart beating in my back, almost like a twitching feelings, it went on for like a hour or so. I thought well perhaps it was a muscle just twitching. Then I decided its weird ok its been going on too long time to investigate.
I monitored my heart rate and it flew to like 166.. Now, I'm going to consult my husband get out the bp machine, by the time I get to my room it stopped and my heart rate and pulse returned to normal. It felt almost like electric impulses. I have a icd with a new wire that I just got 4 weeks ago. it was a replacement.

Good luck with your check up! I hope it shows up on the report so you know what it was. It will be interesting to see if it was the ICD converting you back to NSR. Let me know what they say it could be.
Take care!
You know you're wired when...

Strange Feelings

Since my CRT-P in April, I've occasionally had some weird electrical impulse like vibrating or buzzing feelings in different areas of my back or chest. It never happened before my PM. They aren't very strong, but I can feel them. I usually notice it when I move in a certain way (reaching for something, etc.), and thankfully, they don't happen very often at all. I thought maybe it was from the electrical impulses from my PM, but my EP doc said no.
He did say that there are a lot of nerves around where the leads lie, so it's likely some of them are being stimulated from time to time. Unlike you though, my heart rate doesn't increase with these "episodes". I wonder if it could still be a nerve or bunch of nerves being stimulated by a lead lying on it or moving around it? My doc said the nerves aren't being stimulated by the electricity, but strictly the lead(s) moving on top of them.
I'm interested to see what others have to say, especially since your rate is increasing during these feelings. Hopefully, others can give you a better answer than me.
