ocean fishing

Hi

I had my PM installed one week ago. Two weeks ago I was on vacation jogging and working out. One day I began feeling tired and feeling a lack of air, just climbing two stair floors. I was kind of confussed when the Doctor told me I needed a PM
Is it often that this condition appears so sudden? on the other hand, Doctor told me I have to wait Three months until I can go ocean fishing again.
I appreciatte your comments regarding both issues.

Regards.

Well, that truly stinks! That you can't go fishing for 3 months! It can come out of the blue. I wa sitting at the computer in June of 06 and the next thing I know I am waking up all slumped over in my seat. I went to the hospital and hours later passed out again, this time all wired up. They told me my heart stopped for 26 seconds and gave me a pm within 2 hours. I am not the only one here that has happened to. So take it easy and get better. The fish will wait. I figure I have a month or so to get my boat out and winterized, I am already thinking about next season! Good luck to you, Boatman

Same Situation

I had similar problems. I thought it hit me all of a sudden also. After a while I realized I had symptoms for years. The problem was they were mild and infrequent so I never paid much attention to them. I just thought I was tired and overworked. It wasn't until the symptoms came on more severe and lasted longer that I looked into it. I enjoy fishing and golf. My Dr told me to avoid both for at least six weeks. He stopped the fishing due to the casting motion and the pulling. I'm back doing both now.
Good Luck and Tight Lines.
