pain

I have had chest and left arm pain and irritation for less than a week straight. The pain is hard to describe but it just feels sort of almost numbing or dull. I had my pacemaker put in late last year. It has never done this before. Wondering if anyone had this happen. I have been so run down that I just feel like passing out all the time as of late.

Pain...

Hi Crazy!

Real quick ~ pain means something is not right. It's our body's way of telling us so.

On that note, wouldn't you want to feel better physically(and for peace of mind) to go have it checked out by a doctor.

Pain, numb, dull, run down, and feeling like passing out are all pointing to something being wrong. We can all sit here and try to guess what the problem is, but we are not doctors, but my guess would be something wrong with a lead (perhaps). The feeling of pre-syncope (near fainting) is or can be a serious thing....think about this: what would happen if you were tending to your children or driving and you passed out??? NOT good.

Please have yourself checked out. Better safe than sorry!!!

Please,
Pookie

I had already planned getting checked. I was just wondering while I was waiting. Here the doctors are slow.

Excellent...

good to hear that you are planning to get checked out as some (not all) tend to take the "wait & see" approach.

the doctors here in Canada are not "slow" (LOL) but the waiting lists are months and months long.

If you get to the point where you think the wait is going to be too long, you can always go to the ER, right?

yes I can go to the er. Even though I hate those places.
