I guess I got my left arm above my head during sleep and when I rolled over, OUCH!! It hurt so bad. It felt like I pulled on something in there and I was really sore all morning. I called the doc and went in for a check.
It turned out everything is still ok, I just have to be more careful I guess.

I'll try the pillow. sounds like it will work, I slept on the couch last night, I just fit between the arm rests so I couldn't get my arm over my head. But it's not very good for sleeping.

My arms hate to stay down when I sleep! I made a device to secure my arm to my side, and had to redesigh it a couple times after my arm escaped in the night. Man, that pain from your arm going up is scarey, like you really messed it up. They re-xrayed me at 6wks, since mine escaped about 4 times, but everything was fine.
At least when you're awake, it's easier to keep control of your arms.
Hang in there; the six weeks will be over soon!

I am just thankful that I am alive and that even though I have this pacemaker it is not the end of the world.

That hurts!! Glad to hear you didn't mess up the leads.
After a replacement, I usually sleep hugging a pillow with my left arm. If there's something there, I'm less likely to roll over that way or move the arm in my sleep if I roll the other way. But it sure wakes you up fast when you do!
