thanks for the input but....

i know when my pacer is firing. i am hypersensitive to it. i am also use to feelin it come on and go off. my top lead is set at 60 and my bottom lead is set to 40. when these episodes occur my fiance monitors my bp and my hr. my bp goes everywhere and my hr stays at 60. i know then that my heart is not doin well therefore my pacer is runnin.when my bottom lead fires it sends pain and a burnin sensation across my chest that is almost unbearable. the phsycological part of all this would be easier to deal with if i could get everthin else under control. its hard to explain exactly what happens durin an episode cause i space out a little. but i do know the last bad episode i had i was in bed for 3 days. i could not get my body temp up nor could i get the energy to get up. on the 4th mornin i felt my pacer shut off and my heart rate come back up. my bp drops below 100 but my rate comes up to atleast 65. i know thats not psychological and that is the prob. its hard to accept that you r dependant on energizer when u have everthin else goin on. i have lost weldin jod jobs, maintanence jobs, and am proboably gettin ready to lose this one cause i cant control this.if i could figure out the med stuff the rest would be easy. i know that i have this thing in my chest and i need it. but i also know that somethin is not right somewhere. i thank u greatly for the conversation and look forward to speakin with all of yuns. my fiance found this site and thought it might help and i think it will....

When was the last time you had your pacemaker tested. Did you explain this to the person doing the test. They can tell when your hr has changed and for how long. You should get it tested every 3 months. f/u with your Card. maybe you should ask for a 24 hr. heart monitor. This way you would log in any problems or any time you felt something not right. dont delay I am totally dependent on my pm and dont have any of the feeling you are talking about. good luck

I agree that it'd be a good idea to have it all checked out and make sure to tell them about the burning chest pain.

They can read what's been going on and might be able to explain it to you or reset the pacemaker for you.

Try to get an appointment right away, as burning chest pain isn't normal nor is having to spend a few days in bed when your pacer is working.

Best wishes.
