?? I have been having trouble with amiodarone first i was on 400 mg then 200 then 100 still was having bad reaction. so I stopped it DONT DO THAT I had for gotten what the defib felt like just went off called dr we are trying over the phone to get me back on track. My ? is has anyone been on the same drug had the same problem what did you change to.

you did not say wht problems you were having,i was on 200mg,but took me off in april,i only felt light headed,and tire,no i'm fine has not gone off sice i got nmy difb,it will be about 2 years this jan,good luck

When I first got my PM/ICD I was on amiodarone, got so out of breath could not walk 50 ft to mail box. Put me on sotalol for 4 months, was so sick I could not eat, lost 40 lbs. Then went to Tikosyn,been on it for 3 years with no problems. I also take coreg. Good luck.
