Anyone know if I can still operate a small gas-powered lawn mower, 4 HP ?

Do NOT do Yard work...!

Yes, you should no longer cut the lawn, pull weeds, paint fences, house repairs or even take out the garbage for that matter.
The best thing would be to take leisurely walks when you feel like, sit by the pool (if you don't have one, get one of those blow-up types from Canadian Tire!) drink some lemonade (or your favorite beverage) and just take it easy as to not wear out the battery prematurely...
Yeah, that didn't fly with my wife either.

Sorry,
I had a pacemaker installed July 17; so I'm still recuperating.

You know you're wired when...
You have a new body part.

But I think it will make me feel a lot better. My stamina to walk is already better, even right after surgery. They had me walk all around the floor before they would release me. I did so without being exhausted and winded the way I had been.

Hello Ken,
I really hate to tell you this, but that pacemaker will not keep you from using any lawn or garden tool you were using before you got that little jewel.
There is exactly one caution for our pacemakers, and it applies to all engines be they internal combustion or electric, keep your pacemaker at least 6 to 10 inches away for them. In rare cases, some engine could have create an electromagnetic field (EMF) and that interrupt the operation of your pacemaker. In the very unlikely event that did happen your PM will return to normal operation within a minute or so after you leave the cause of the problem.
Good luck,
Smitty
