need help

If the doctor tries to talk me into having a 2nd pocket made and putting in an older slightly larger pm...I don't want it.
This one was put in 5 months ago and it moves and it sticks out and it creates black and blues over the unit and the lead is felt through the skin.
Surgery is scheduled on Friday. What should I be asking?
Please anyone have ideas?

It sounds like what you have now needs to be fixed! Bruises and leads poking out is not something you want to live with indefinitely.

Why are they going with an older, larger pm instead of just moving what you have?

I can't tell from your username if you're a man or woman, but mine is considerably lower than most implants, completely buried under the breast. After the initial healing, I haven't had any discomfort and I have to poke around to even feel where it is. Seatbelts and backpacks don't bother me and I can forget it's there most of the time.

There are many smaller ones, on the market. Don't know why they want to put a larger one. I am having another surgery, and she is placing a much smaller device this time, as mine is really big now. Ask some questions & make sure it is what you want. I did. No way would I have the same size device, that I have now.
Why does your surgeon want to use older larger model, something don't sound right. Good luck.

It may be the first time we've felt a normal heart rhythm in a long time, so of course it seems too fast and too strong.
