Hello vtlaney -

I had my 4th pacemaker inserted on June 20th. I had my post check up 14 days later with my cardio, and then 16 days with the pacemaker clinic.

I am having another apt with the pacemaker clinic 6 weeks after implant and then 8 weeks after implant. The clinic checks my pacemaker and it's settings and sends reports to my cardio.

Hope this helps-

call and ask

If you don't feel well, call and ask to be checked. It's normal to take a few tries to get it just right so they should not be surprised to hear from you.

PM check

When I had my pm implant 2 years ago, I had a PM check by the Medtronic technician 4 weeks after implant followed up with an appointment with the EP who reviewed the interrogation report issued by the PM tech.

Thereafter I had an appointment with the EP and PM check-up once every 3 months for the 1st year.

Trust this helps.
