FEELING BETTER ABOUT FEELING OUT OF SORTS

Hi,
First,I would like to thank everyone who replied to my message this morning.I think it helps so much to hear it from those who know what you are feeling. As wonderful as the doctors, nurses ,and technichians have been, its never the same as having a fellow patient assure you.Nobody knows what your body and your mind is telling you unless they have lived through it.I am a 59 yr old male who has had some medical problems in the past but I have remained active(golf, bowling)Recently, however I had 3 stints placed(november)One of the stints collasped and I had it redone last week.On the way home from the hospital I passed out,so we returned to the hospital and
the pacemaker /difibulator was placed the following day.I promise not to wear out my welcome on the first day but I assure you I will be in touch with this fine group.Again,I thank you all.

Well, you HAVE been through a lot! No wonder you're feeling like you've been through the wringer!! And you can never wear out your welcome here...if we don't stick together through the good and bad, well, it wouldn't be much of a support group!

Take care and feel better.

I am 100% pacemaker dependant and have been all my life. I try not to think about how a little metal box keeps me alive - it would drive me crazy. So I lead a very active life.
