Hi and Welcome to the club. I have had many ablations also for IST also. I know that getting a pm is not a fun process to go through. I was not expecting one either but am blessed that I don't feel like I am going to pass out 24/7. If you have any questions feel free to ask. I am a open ear. Many thoughts and prayers as you are recovering. Take it easy and sit back and enjoy relaxing and watching some tv and movies.

Blessings,
Tammy

Hello and Welcome to the Pacemaker Club. You have come to the right place to find information and support.
You have been through two procedures and it does take time to recover from these. Please give yourself plenty of time to heal, Were you given any information following your pace-maker such as no heavy lifting or reaching up above your shoulder?. Take it easy and if you are concerned about anything bring it up with your health care provider.
All the Best, Amanda

Welcome to the PM club. You will get support here! I now have my 2nd PM and it has saved my life and kept me from becoming an invalid.

Remember the no lifting over 5 pounds for at least the first month and do not raise your arm on the PM side for a while until your lead sets.

Take care and again welcome!
