I am just thankful that I am alive and that even though I have this pacemaker it is not the end of the world.

HI,
I AM 49 YEARS OLD AND ALL MY TESTS CAME BACK NORMAL ALSO. I HAD ECHO, STRESS TESTS (MIBI), DOPPLER, VARIOUS CARDIOGRAMS AND EVERYTHING CAME BACK GREAT. THEN IN JUNE OF LAST YEAR, I HAD A MINI STROKE, AND THEY STARTED DOING TESTING, AND ONE BESIDE THE ONES I MENTIONED WAS THE HOLTER MONITOR (WHICH I ENDED UP GETTING ON 2 OCASSIONS) THIS IS WHAT TOLD THE STORY THAT I HAD HEART BLOCK. MY PULSE IS NEVER SLOW, IT RANGES IN THE 80-90 RANGE, BUT MY HEART PAUSES., WHICH I NEVER KNEW BECAUSE I HAD NEVER FAINTED OR HAD ANY OTHER SYMPTOMS. THEY SAY EVERYTHING HAPPENS FOR A REASON, RIGHT? I AM ACTUALLY VERY GRATEFUL THAT I HAD THE MINI STROKE, OTHERWISE THEY WOULDN'T HAVE FOUND OUT ABOUT MY HEART PAUSING, SOME WERE UP TO 6 SECONDS LONG AND AS MANY AS 8-13 PER DAY. (NOT THAT I EVER WANT TO HAVE ANOTHER STROKE) I PREY EVERYDAY THAT I DON'T.
ANYWAY, GOOD LUCK, HOPE YOU ARE FEELING WELL NOW.
JANICE
