I am 32 and had my pacemaker implant in 06, the 1st Doctor severed my AV node, didn't know what my life would be like with a pacemaker. Glad I have it now, and did not have anyone to talk to that would share the same situation. Glad I found this site. Thanks Angie

Welcome to the group, Angie! Glad you found us. It's nice to have a place to go with your questions and concerns or to add your two cents in the hopes of helping someone else. I, too, had my pacer implanted in 2006 and I'm 30. There are lots of us youngin's around here, too.
Happy pacing!

Just wanted to say hi, and welcome. This really is a great place with a great supportive knowledgeable group of people. I do more reading than posting and still feel very supported. I put in my thoughts when I think I can offer some help. I am on the young side too (33) and have been paced since 96 from AV node ablation. Hope you find great comfort and support here where there are lots that know just how you feel.

Angie, Welcome! I've been here only two weeks or so but it is a wonderful site; such knowledgeable folks here who are so kind to share with us 'newbies'.
My 6 mon. PM Check up is in two weeks so I'm anxious to see if anything has changed. I've had it
about 2 1/2 years now.
