I just started having faint flutters at the battery. Is this normal when the pacemaker kicks in as I call it? It is not in the heart, but at the battery. Anyone have or had this happen? I've had my pm since 2005 and get great reports on check ups....it had never had to kick in as of my last visit 4 months ago.
Thanks.

So, my advice is to go about your daily routine and forget that you have a pacemaker implanted in your body.
Thanks

I have an appt next week.
No I have never had this feeling before. I have not had it at all today, but noticed it both Friday and Saturday.
After thinking about it,it is really more like a light buzz than a flutter. It is at the battery; not in my heart. Lasts about 6 to 8 seconds.
I still don't understand all the lingo. The PM does work and does pace my heart. What the technician told me is that it never had to jolt me, is what I guess I'm trying tro say.
I do have a dual chamber PM.
I finally found how to get back to my post here so I will post again after I see the dr. or get my PM checked.
I believe I'll really enjoy being a part of this site. You all seem to know so much.
As I said, I don't understand all the PM lingo yet but will
hopefully learn more.
Again, Thanks.
