Battery Life

Hi
I have a dual chamber Boston Scientific S603 pacemaker. Does anybody know what the lifespan for this model? Just on the average.
Thanks

Gladys

Lifespan isn't the model so much as how we use it- how much we pace, how much juice it takes to get us to pace, condition of our leads, where the leads are placed, the safety margins, the extra features we use and a bunch of other factors. When you have it interrogated, they can give you an expected lifespan.

I, too, was concerned about battery life after having had the PM installed Feb.5, 2014. On my first interrogation I asked and was told that, looking at the usage I had (pacing 96%) the battery should last 11 years. As previously mentioned, you can get this information when the PM is interrogated.

You know you're wired when...

Microwave ovens make you spark.
