WHAT DO I HAVE

I GOT MY ID CARD FOR MY PACEMAKER TODAY. I'VE NOTICED THAT ALOT OF YOU KNOW EXACTLY WHAT YOU HAVE. I HAVE A LITTLE BIT OF INFO. I'VE NOTICED FROM SOME POSTINGS THAT CERTAIN LEADS DO CERTAIN THINGS. I HAVE A ST JUDE PACEMAKER MODEL #5816; RA-LEAD 1688TC/46, RVOT-LEAD 1688TC/52. ANYONE KNOW WHAT THIS IS?

Hi and welcome to the club. You have an amazing Victory XL pacemaker. I have the exact same one.
To look up and to learn exactly what you have you can go to www.sjm.com . If you copy and paste the below it will take you directly to read on your pacemaker.
http://www.sjm.com/devices/device.aspx?name=Victory%26%23174%3b+Pacemakers&location=us&type=2

You have different leads than I do but you can also enter them in the search area and should be able to find them on the site. If you still would like to know more information about your pacemaker you can call St. Jude and ask them to send you information on your pacemaker.

Welcome to the club. I wish you luck on your recovery.

Tammy

Thanks

Thanks Margaret for the question and thanks, Tammy, for the reply.

I have the same model St Jude PM as you. I didn't know it was called the XL Victory. (Or if I knew in the beginning, I forgot).
Could I ask you, Tammy, why you call it amazing? Just curious.

Also, Margaret, let me welcome you to the club. You will like it here.
