I am a U.S. citizen and live in San Miguel de Allende, Mexico. I have a Medtronic ICD/Pacemaker. Does anyone have an experience with having a phone interrogation done on their device from a foreign country?
Thanks.

Thanks stillshocked,
It looks like you have a St. Jude's and live in the Netherlands. Are you contacting some other country in Europe or the United States for your phone interrogation?
I have a Medtronc, live in Mexico and want to have my the phone interrogation of my ICD done from Mexico to the United States. Any comments? Medtronic says that are not set up to do interrogation from a country outside of the United States
You know you're wired when...
You have a 25 year mortgage on your device.

In fact after the final "tweaks" of my pacemaker programming at the one year check up it is working so well that I forget I have it.
Been there done that

I do it from The Netherlands about once or twice a year. If you have a good connection there is no problem. I have had once there was static in the line and I had to call back.
