Pacemaker replacement

Had my pacemaker replacement on 3/10/24. Still having what I consider a lot of pain when walking around.  Not much pain first thing in the morning when I first get up. Is it normal or should I give them a call my next visit not till 20 May.

A lot of pain? I wouldn't think you should have a lot of pain six weeks later. Uncomfortable yes, a lot of pain...no. It can't hurt to call and let your dr know this. I'm thinking you have a home monitor that would alert the dr if anything was amiss with the pacemaker. 
 

 

Pain after replacement

I had my replacement on 3/13/24 (my 4th) and like you, I do not feel any pain until I get moving around after waking in the morning. It is very minor pain/pinching and is completely normal. The pushing/pulling during the procedure causes some irritation internally.While our incision heals pretty rapidly, it takes much longer internally. Also, you have to figure that the size and location of the generator/wires/connection are not in exactly the same location. Close, but not exactly. So it takes a long time for your new generator to settle-in and for you to adjust to it. Much longer than 6 weeks. It never hurts to check with your doc if concerned, but I am pretty confident what you are feeling is normal.
