PM progress since 2-8-24

On December 15, 2023 I discovered my pulse was a pretty constant 41.  No wonder I'd been having 'brain' problems, and was week and unwell.  I had bradycadia.  So, I saw my doctor and things moved at a rapid rate.  I had my PM implanted on 2-8-24.  Just 16 days ago.    My energy level is up.  I can walk further than I've been able to walk since Oct '23.    I am still learning some things every day of course, and trying to talk myself into doing only what I tolerate well.  I am so grateful to all the docs and nurses and friends and family who helped me every step of the way.

Pleased for you

I'm pleased for you too. It can be so hard to work out which organs are playing up when they are starved of blood supply.  All sorts of symptoms arise.

Don't beat yourself up about not understanding at the time. You shouldn't have had to work it out for yourself!

My own brain is struggling with the date format in your post. We arrange the numbers differently in the UK !

🌸🌺 Sounds like you're healing well in mind and body! Be good to yourself. Ditch the sling and just keep your elbow below the shoulder but use the pacemaker arm. Congratulations on finding a solution for your problem and doing so well.

Great to hear

I am so glad you are doing well.  Listen to your body and be patient with yourself.  Sounds like you have the right attitude.  It is amazing how much better you will feel with your new friend.

Congratulations!

You know you're wired when...

You can finally prove that you have a heart.

My pacemaker was installed in 1998 and I have not felt better. The mental part is the toughest.
