Hi-

Saw your request for info on having an ablation & recovery. I know that there is a way to look up past posts on ablations but not sure how. Hopefully someone will answer that question.

But I have had two AV node ablations a couple of months apart & it was OK as I felt so much better after the 1st & then fine after the 2nd. I had the 1st ablation & PM placement for Afib that meds & cardioversions couldn't control. Needed 2nd 'cause my Afib over-riding PM. Had no sutures for second so no problem with healing as with PM insertion just a hole in vein that needed to close & it did. Hope others will respond & let you know that for most of us it was no big deal. Hope it is for you also. Let us know.
