I was quite worried about having my pacemaker replaced as I have no AV node and no residual pacing. However the whole experience was fantastic. I thought of a way of putting the hospital under pressure indirectly which worked a treat. There was a bed waiting for me at 8 in the morning. I hardly had time to lay in it when I was whisked off down to surgery. My blood pressure soared but whan I got back to the ward it wnet down and I was allowed home and told to rest. I was up with a lark the next day and back to work the next day !!
I made one mistake and that was to ask for the rate response to be left off for 1 week until the stiches were removed. I realised that I needed the faster rated during that week so I was very pleased when they switched it back on again. Yippee Im ok for another 7 1/2 years.

I'm 44, active and have had my device for two years. I love it as I can run again and enjoy working out without feeling like I'm an old man.
Fantastic!
