My husband has tricuspid leakage due to pacing wire. Has anyon else had this, and am interested as to what there electophysiologist had to say about valve replacement.

I'm 44, active and have had my device for two years. I love it as I can run again and enjoy working out without feeling like I'm an old man.
other meds??

I recently had an echocardiogram that showed some valve leakage. Interestingly enough, I also recently started taking Xarelto because I had stents placed in my iliac artery. After reading up on Xarelto it appears that it may cause valve leakage, I'm just not sure if that's only when used after TVAR (valve replacement through catheter). But might be worth checking on what other meds he's on, especially any new/recent changes. Good luck, hope you find your answer!
