covid-19 vaccine

Today i  had my  first shot of the Moderna vaccine.  Mentioned i had a Pacemaker, she said was i sure it was not a Defibrillator.  Did not ask her why.  Get the second one Feb23,2021 or after, hope that is easy to get and not much pain.

Now just some soreness around the armpit.  Glad i got it in the left one.  Was at the heatlh dept.  Glad not the one where you sat in your car inching your way to the front of the line. Would have been in the right one.  As a friend drove us.   Gave me a card now am a  2 card carrying person.

Hello New to Pace,

Thank you for sharing your experience.

Last Friday I got the Pfizer vaccine and my husband received the AstraZeneca Vaccine.  I have had a strong immune response to the vaccine of chills, sweats, and influenza symptoms.  But I am feeling slightly better now thankfully.

As a knowledgeable PM Club member has suggested this could well confirm that the symptoms I experienced last April were indeed those of Coronavirus and my reaction to the vaccine being so strong would seem to confirm this.  I tend to agree.

I didn't get much in the way of arm soreness but my husband did with the AstraZeneca vaccine.

We were both given vaccination cards and useful leaflets to take away.  A good experience overall and although good immunity from the first dose will take a few weeks to build + that second dose will be needed too, we still feel safer right now.  There were many in the queue (at least at my hospital centre) prepared to wait in the cold for their essential vaccine.  My husband had his vaccine in the comfort of our GP surgery

According to the county's web site, we're to get our second dose (Moderna) on Feb. 8.  ...if there is any around.

First night could not fall asleep.  The second night i slept the whole night, woke up without pain.   Glad did not get in right arm as that is the side/arm i sleep on.  Have been only able to sleep occasionaly on left cause of pacemaker.

Did not seem to bother me much.  Was glad as have many food and chemical sensitivities reaction.  What happens some of the time, i  get chilled, fall into a deep sleep, fatigued in brain, and wake up from 5 minutes to an hour with super energy.

It's much better to live with a pacemaker than to risk your life without one.
