Has anyone on here worked industrial maintenance. I worked on the high-voltage transmission system for a big public power utility for the last 14 1/2 years I've done industrial maintenance for 21 years and now after my pacemaker implant and being told I cannot longer be around this stuff. Just wondering if anybody else out there has run into this and what they had to do

I had my pacemaker implanted just before Christmas.  Iwas supposed to go back to work on Monday, but was notified yesterday that there is no longer a position for me because of my pacemaker.  I am 57 years old, no type of pension and have always done work that is not recommended with a pm.  So what is a person to do?  It really stinks!
