new implant discomfort
I had my PM implanted about 2 weeks ago...
after about 10 days I've started having incredible discomfort at the site. feels like it rubbing against my colar bone.. it that normal? Will it go away?

But I think it will make me feel a lot better. My stamina to walk is already better, even right after surgery. They had me walk all around the floor before they would release me. I did so without being exhausted and winded the way I had been.

Hi - I had mine implanted 4 weeks ago and it is still very uncomfortable. I can't bear anything on top of it , even light material. I have been placing a small soft cushion against it at night and this has helped.
Had a check up yesterday and was told it will eventually settle down.
So, I expect yours will settle down too given time, but you should have the chance to get it checked in a few weeks.
