Pain

I had my pacer in May 2018 for sick sinus syndrome, and a cardiac loop monitor removed. I have developed keloids and tremendous pain like a match being struck on chest , can’t sleep welll for discomfort and it is very painful. MD says it’s nerves regenerating but it’s been six months and I want to know has anyone had this and how long did it take to go away. It burns stings and feels like a match being struck. I can’t touch it without it sending shock waves through chest.

A pacemaker completely solved my problem. In fact, it was implanted just 7 weeks ago and I ran a race today, placed first in my age group.
