anyone on this site weld with having an implant? ive had my defibulator since 2012 and havent welded since. really would love to start making my own repairs again. thanks

You don't tell us much about yourself. I'm dependent and wouldn't go anywhere near a welder. If I weren't dependent on the thing, I'd probably give it a try.

We can tig and mig but not arc weld. Sorry, I don't weld so I don't know more than that but it comes up fairly regularly if you search the old posts. There have been discussions with lots of numbers and big welding words that went over my head tossed around :o) Magnets are the issue, that's why arc is a no-no but the others are ok. We do have members who have successfully arc welded.
